Chris Huster
Board Member
As a proud Deer Park alumnae and lifelong resident of this great community, I am excited to serve on the Deer Park Board of Education. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-8) from Eastern Kentucky University and my Master's in Education from Xavier University. I am a National Board Certified Teacher. My husband Greg and I are proud to live in a community that values education and understands the importance of working together to accomplish our goals. Our four children, Greg, Nic, Rob and Michelle graduated from DPHS and they went on to earn college degrees.
The last thirty-one years have been the most rewarding years of my life. I have had the opportunity to work with students, parents, fellow educators, and administrators to achieve academic excellence. I feel privileged to have served as a teacher at Howard, Holmes, and Amity as well as a coach at the Jr./Sr. High School. I served as president of the Deer Park Education Association, a teacher Representative for contract negotiations, and on the budget and curriculum committees. I am an active member of St. Saviour Church and a committed school district and community volunteer.
